The X-Smart iQ is a cordless endodontic motor designed for continuous and reciprocating motion. It is controlled by DENTSPLY’s Apple iOS iQ app, meaning it is also a complete digital solution and ultimately an evolving Endo Partner.

• The X-Smart handpiece iQ is wireless, slim and well balanced. It allows excellent visibility during the access to the root canal thanks to its 360º adjustable head in miniature. In addition, the own hand piece includes a digital button with an intuitive indication of the state of the handpiece as well as a battery with autonomy for 16 treatments that can recharge during the treatment
• The new Maillefer motor has been created for a quick change between alternating rotation and continuous rotation.
• In addition, Maillefer has developed an application for IOS Apple system which enables you to explain the Endodontic treatment to the patient by using a set of simple images that are stored in the Dentsply iQ application. This application allows for storage of a sequence of Maillefer files or allows you to archive your own sequence of files. It has an instant indication of the completely visual torque level and with beep sounds with samples of the use of the torque in real time graphics
