Temp-Bond NE - Zinc Oxide-Based Temporary Cement without Eugenol

Indications:

  • Temporary cementation in restorations
  • Suitable for patients allergic to Eugenol
  • Base material contains 44g of zinc oxide
  • Accelerator contains 14g of organic acid polymers

Advantages:

  • Eugenol-free: Does not inhibit the polymerization of permanent resin-based cements or temporary restorations made of acrylic materials
  • Does not irritate tissues, does not stain acrylic, and is easy to remove from the tooth stump or the prosthetic restoration

Instructions for Use:

  • Place equal amounts of Temp-Bond NE base and Temp-Bond NE accelerator on the mixing pad
  • Dry the prepared tooth and the inner surface of the restoration
  • Mix the two pastes thoroughly for 30 seconds
  • Apply a thin layer of the mixed material to the inner surface of the temporary restoration
    (Note: Working time after mixing is 4 minutes from the start of spatulation at 23°C ±2°C and 50% ±10% relative humidity)
  • Secure the restoration in the oral cavity
  • After the material has set (approximately 6 minutes after mixing or 4 minutes in the oral cavity), remove excess cement
  • Ideal working conditions are 23°C ±2°C and 50% ±10% relative humidity
  • After use, seal the tubes tightly

Modifier:

  • The Temp-Bond modifier will alter the hardness of the cement when added to the mixture
  • Place equal amounts of Temp-Bond NE accelerator and base on the mixing pad
  • Add a small amount of Temp-Bond modifier next to the base and accelerator (approximately 25% of their amount)
  • Varying the amount of modifier to more than 25% will result in a minor decrease in the cement’s hardness but will not affect the setting time

Working Time:

  • The working time of the mixed material on the mixing pad at 23°C ±2°C and 50% ±10% relative humidity is at least 3-3.75 minutes
  • Both working time and final setting time are sensitive to humidity and temperature; variations in these parameters can alter the results

Returning products


The Buyer can request the return of purchased products from the online DENTSTORE site in the following situations:

  1. Products are inconsistent with site specifications. Returns of unsealed products are not accepted

If the replacement with a more expensive product is agreed, the Buyer will pay the price difference, or if the replacement product value will be lower, he will receive the appropriate partial refund.
