Cardboard Box 20 L with Bag and Collar for Collecting Infectious Medical Waste (Bag Included) - Designed for collecting infectious medical waste, certified by ADR IPROCHIM SA in accordance with WHO 1226/2012.

Note: The boxes are delivered with the bag included inside the box, not separately!

Advantages:

• Used for collecting infectious waste that does not include sharp objects.
• Yellow in color.
• Equipped inside with yellow polyethylene bags.
• The height of the bag must exceed the height of the box so that the bag folds over the top edge, and the surplus must allow for closure.
• The thickness of the polyethylene from which the bag is made is between 50 – 70 μ.
• Both the boxes and the bags inside must be marked and labeled in Romanian with the following:

-Type of waste collected: “INFECTIOUS WASTE – CODE 18.01.03*”;

-Pictogram: "Biological Hazard";

-Container capacity: “liters” and “kg”;

-Instructions for use;

-Marking line for the maximum fill level;

-Date of commencement of container use in the department;

-Health unit;

-Department that used the container;

-Person responsible for handling them;

-Date of final filling;

-Marking in accordance with United Nations (UN) standards in compliance with the European Agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (ADR).

• Infectious waste includes waste that contains or has come into contact with blood or other biological fluids, as well as with viruses, bacteria, parasites, and/or toxins of microorganisms, products that contained blood or other biological fluids, surgical fields, gloves and other disposable materials, compresses, dressings, and other contaminated materials, dialysis membranes, plastic bags for urine collection, used laboratory materials, and diapers from patients hospitalized in healthcare facilities specializing in infectious diseases or in infectious disease wards of healthcare facilities.

Conditions for Use of the Packaging

• Before use, form the box according to the instructions printed legibly on the side and insert the corresponding bag into the box.
• After filling, permanently close the box and use the handles located at the top to transport the box to the collection point.
• It is mandatory to follow the usage instructions inscribed on the box!
• The person responsible for marketing the packaging is obliged to inform the user of the legal provisions regarding the use of this packaging for transporting hazardous goods.
• Personnel responsible for using these packages must be appropriately trained and verified for the work involved in this activity.

• Government Decision No. 856/2002, with subsequent amendments and completions, regarding the types of waste including hazardous ones.

Important! According to WHO 1226/2012 in conjunction with ADR/2017 Volume II, the boxes and associated bags are permanently and legibly marked and labeled in Romanian, in accordance with United Nations (UN) standards (ADR), with the following indications:

-The words “BIOLOGICAL HAZARD” in capital letters;

-The words “INFECTIOUS WASTE” in capital letters;

-The words “DISPOSABLE PACKAGING” in capital letters;

-The words “DESTROY ONCE FILLED” in capital letters;

-A horizontal line indicating the maximum fill limit corresponding to the useful capacity, along with the words “DO NOT FILL ABOVE THE LINE” in capital letters.
